May 27: CIPDI in partnership with Church organized a Children’s day program for children within Enugu environs .

Lady Agatha Agu VP Programs CIPDI urged the children to be obedient and respectful to both their Parents and their elders . The CIPDI representative also admonished the children to plan towards a fruitful and peaceful future as the Leaders of tomorrow. The General Overseer of the Church, Apostle Samuel O. Samuel charged Parents to be positive models to their children and the young ones . A parent , Mrs Ukwuoma Agu noted that Children are special gifts from God and as such should not be toyed with . The Children’s instructor in the Church Pastor Elizabeth Nweke advised parents to monitor their children/wards to know the kind of relationship they keep both at home and in school.

The theme for the 2024 Children’s Day is “For every child, every right.”

The highlight of the event featured Preaching by one of the kids, Master Chukwuemeka Samuel, performances by the Children , Quiz , games and presentation of educational materials to the children among others .
